Solemn Evensong with The Choir of St. James

The Choir returns for its first Evensong of the season NEXT Sunday, Oct 8 at 4:15 PM. Music includes Richard Ayleward: Responses; William Mathias: Jesus College Canticles, Cambridge; William Harris: Faire is the Heaven; Rihards Dubra: Ave Maria (Please note: Evensong and Organ Recitals are no longer exclusively on 2nd Sundays. Capital Campaign Working Groups

We are so grateful to those of you who have attended the series of listening sessions over the past few months. These listening sessions have helped generate ideas and focus for our upcoming capital campaign. As a result of these listening sessions, participants and vestry members have stepped forward to form working groups.

These working groups will do a deeper dive into their assignments. For instance, one group will be looking at HVAC, another exterior beautification, and yet another interior beautification. Even if you have not attended a listening session, it is not too late for you to lend your energy and insight into one of the working groups. Would you like to contribute to be one of the following groups?

Baptism, Newcomers, and Confirmation Class

Thinking about baptism? It’s not too late! In addition to Services of Baptism on October 15 and November 5, on Sunday, November 12, Bishop Frank Brookhart will be with us to confirm young people and adults. If you are at least 14 years of age, and would like to be confirmed, contact Father Jon to join the online confirmation class.
